After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Bloomfield, the Clarkston Wolves were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They managed a 27-22 win over Rochester. Given Clarkston's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Falcons are ranked 262nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Clarkston to victory were Elia Morgner and Elli Robak. Morgner scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Robak scored 14 points along with three steals.
Clarkston's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Rochester, they have fallen quite a ways from their 18-7 record last season and are now at 4-8.
Clarkston will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rochester, they will head out on the road to square off against the Lakers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Bloomfield will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
