The Valley Christian Eagles lost against the Drummond Trojans back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Valley Christian was dealt a 50-19 loss at the hands of the Trojans. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Valley Christian in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.
Drummond's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kimber Parsons, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Lexi Nelson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Drummond, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Valley Christian will head out on the road to square off against the Prospectors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Drummond, they will play host again and welcome the Lynx, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
