 Lafayette's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 18-4. As for Oakville, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 10-8.
 Lafayette beat Oakville 3-0  in their previous matchup  back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lafayette since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
