North Gaston won the last time they faced Huss and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 19-0 win. Considering the Wildcats have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Landon Wilson looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

North Gaston is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Huss, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-19.

North Gaston will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Huskies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
