In what's become a running theme this season, Alisal gave their fans yet another huge  win on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pajaro Valley Grizzlies  a   19-0 shutout. The  victory was just what Alisal needed coming off of  an  11-1 loss in their prior  match.
  Nevaeh Lopez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (she also didn't allow any  walks). Lopez was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Micah Smith, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.  Aaliyah Ruiz was another key contributor,  going 3-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Alisal's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Pajaro Valley, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-3.
 Alisal didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  6-4  defeat vs. King City on the 11th. As for Pajaro Valley, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rancho San Juan at 4:30  p.m.  on April 30th.
