Cedar Creek made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,500 from 11,728.
Georgetown's Jake Hubenak and Ryan Bedford have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 4A Region III District 17 in both passing and receiving yards. Hubenak has thrown for 1200 yards this season, while Bedford, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 24 catches for 479 yards. Elgin's Te'Rel Simmons leads the league in rushing yards with 468.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Hutto takes on Pflugerville Connally. The Hippos are in fifth place, while the Cougars are in third place.
