Northwest put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Orrick Bearcats a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Northwest's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Orrick, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Northwest will face off against Versailles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Versailles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Orrick, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 defeat against Tournament Opponent on the 29th.
