Football Recap: Mercer County Comes Up Short at Home Against Tates Creek

Mercer County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Tates Creek Commodores 66-29 on Saturday. The game was a close 29-26 at the break, but unfortunately for the Titans it sure didn't stay that way.

Looking ahead, Mercer County is taking a road trip to take on Campbellsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tates Creek, they will challenge Blazer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
