While losing is never fun, Loudon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while Silverdale Academy is ranked 32nd).
Silverdale Academy was led to victory by Kennedy Okpara and Brett Wright. Okpara scored 20 points along with eight rebounds, while Wright scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The contest was Wright's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Houston Holland, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Loudon's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Silverdale Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
