The Emmaus Hornets will face off against the Parkland Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Emmaus will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
On Thursday, Emmaus earned a 9-5 victory over Whitehall.

Mari Eiswerth made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Emmaus let Taylor Hauver and Abigail Derr run wild. Hauver went 4-for-5 with three runs and one double, while Derr went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Derr has posted since back in April. Haleigh Gigliotti was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs.
Emmaus was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .472. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher in six consecutive matchups.
Parkland came out on top against Louis E. Dieruff on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run first inning. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Huskies. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Libby Pinkham was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Gabriella Morrison, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Parkland's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Emmaus, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
Parkland's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Emmaus has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Parkland, though, as they've been averaging only 2.6 strikeouts. Will Emmaus keep running through batters, or will the Trojans buck the trend?
Emmaus skirted past Parkland 5-3 in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
