Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Chapin

Chapin won the last time they faced Jefferson and things went their way on Friday too. The Huskies blew past the Silver Foxes 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Huskies yet this season.

Leading Chapin to victory were Gianna Dominguez and Alianni Romero. Dominguez had 17 digs and four aces, while Romero had 14 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Dominguez has posted over her last 12 matches. Ja'Lynn Valadez also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Chapin, bringing their record up to 14-4. As for Jefferson, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Chapin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Las Cruces on the 30th. As for Jefferson, they will take on Clint at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday. The Silver Foxes are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
