Volleyball Recap: Lewisburg Has No Trouble Against Southaven

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Cormorant, Lewisburg was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Southaven Chargers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lewisburg was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11, 25-14.

Lewisburg's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Southaven, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Lewisburg and Southaven will both be playing Center Hill the next time they take the court. The Patriots will host the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chargers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
