The Brockway Rovers struggled with assists on Saturday (the Union Knights/Damsels had 2100% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Brockway took a serious blow against Union, falling 81-24. Brockway has not had much luck with Union recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Brockway saw an underclassman step up: Kyle Kennedy scored 6 points.
Hayden Smith was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 20 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Dawson Camper, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 18 rebounds.
Brockway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Union, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Brockway will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Marys at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Union's road trip will continue as they head out to face North Clarion at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th.
