The Ridgeview Wolf Pack's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell to Independence 63-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Independence's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was AMARIUS "AR" ROWEL, who scored 20 points along with six assists. Another player making a difference was JAMES TANNER, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Ridgeview's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 11-9. As for Independence, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
Ridgeview will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bakersfield at 6:30 p.m. Bakersfield is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. Independence's road trip will continue as they head out to face San Luis Obispo at 4:30 p.m. on January 20th.
