Longmont has won four straight games at home, while Horizon has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Longmont Trojans will welcome the Horizon Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Longmont is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since January 14th on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Silver Creek, sneaking past 58-55.

Longmont's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joey Foot led the charge by putting up 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Foot has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Dominic Lombrano was another key player, posting 14 points.
Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Horizon faced off against Frederick on Tuesday. Horizon simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Frederick 82-53. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.
Longmont better focus on containing Noah Sokolowski and Boaz Wisne as the pair were huge in Horizon's win. Sokolowski dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards, while Wisne dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 boards gave Wisne a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Greene, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.
Horizon was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Horizon is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to offensive rebounds: they averaged an imposing 12.38 offensive boards in those games compared to only 12.38 in the others. As for Longmont, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Longmont hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 56.1 points per game. However, it's not like Horizon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 67.5 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
