The Lutheran-Northeast Eagles's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against Riverside by a score of 34-23. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lutheran-Northeast also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Lutheran-Northeast's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emerson Scott, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Kealy Ranslem, who scored eight points.
Lutheran-Northeast's win bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Riverside, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Lutheran-Northeast will take on Laurel-Concord-Coleridge at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Edward at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. St. Edward is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
