The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Brunswick, who took down 188th ranked Ashley, 34-26.
Adding to the longest winning streak in 4A/3A Conference 17 this week, Hoggard beat South Brunswick 38-0. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Vikings.
5-foot-11 quarterback DYLAN DARGUZAS of the Trojans is the league leader in passing yards this season with 968. He has also thrown 5 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Randall Emerson. The Hoggard star has 38 catches for 554 yards.
Jeavonne Batts of the Laney is just 92 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Batts has rushed for 908 yards on 119 carries so far this year.
West Brunswick scaled the state rankings by moving to 217 from 246 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Scott Frazier's team was able to move up by defeating the Screaming Eagle 34-26.
