Rigby is 10-0 against Madison since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Rigby Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Madison Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Rigby knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Madison likes a good challenge.
Rigby stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Highland 68-20 at home. With Rigby ahead 42-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Kambree Barber continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last eight times she's played. Kylie Dansie was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals.
Even though Madison has not done well against Thunder Ridge recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Madison walked away with a 53-42 win over Thunder Ridge. The win was familiar territory for Madison who now have four in a row.
Rigby pushed their record up to 17-2 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.33 points. As for Madison, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Rigby against Madison in their previous matchup on January 5th as the team secured a 59-25 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rigby since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
