The Shelbyville Golden Bears can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Whiteland with a sharp 60-35 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Shelbyville has posted since December 8, 2023.
Ava Wilson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Ellie Keller was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Whiteland's loss came despite strong showings from Sophia Dyer and Carly Vondielingen. Dyer scored 17 points along with nine rebounds, while Vondielingen scored eight points along with five rebounds.
