The Rock County Christian Eagles can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. Everything went their way against Waukesha Christian Academy as Rock County Christian made off with a 60-35 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Rock County Christian just coasted through the last quarter.
Rock County Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tony Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Thompson hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Thompson, who scored eight points along with nine assists and seven rebounds.
The win (which was Rock County Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 17-4. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.3 points. As for Waukesha Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock County Christian will challenge the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Academy of Excellence will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the Eagles are ranked 186th). As for Waukesha Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against the Firebirds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
