Anderson Gets a Boost from Raby in 17-6 Loss

On Friday, West Valley got the W thanks in part to Logan Rasmussen playing the best football he has all season. Rasmussen picked up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of West Valley's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 0-4 when he doesn't).
On the season, Rasmussen has averaged 14.4 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 5.29 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 41.71 receiving yards.

Dathen Moore Turns in Another Game with at Least 106 Rushing Yards
Dathen Moore continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his seventh-straight game with at least 106 rushing yards. He rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.
University Prep had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Moore it was a similar story. Moore rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in November of 2023.
