The Bay Path RVT Minutemen scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by St. Bernard's Central Catholic at home to the tune of 73-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bay Path RVT.
Peter Barbale continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Greg Downie was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Bay Path RVT pushed their record up to 7-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for St. Bernard's Central Catholic, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bay Path RVT won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Bears at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd. St. Bernard's Central Catholic will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th.
