The Lakes Lancers posted their closest win since December 14, 2023 on Friday. They skirted past Silas 48-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lakes.
Lakes got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ehmarii Mcchristian out in front who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Samara Oliver, who scored 13 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Lakes is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Silas, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Spanaway Lake the next time they take the court. Silas will host Spanaway Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lakes will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
