Gruver was led to victory by Pratt McLain and Briggs Satterfield. McLain rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns, while Satterfield threw for 188 yards and four touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. McLain was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.
When it comes to explaining why Boys Ranch lost, one person who can't be blamed is James Sully. Despite the final result, he rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown.
Gruver is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Boys Ranch, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
