Last Wednesday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Granby Memorial had to settle for a 62-59 loss against Rockville.
Meanwhile, Windsor Locks entered their tilt with East Granby with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Windsor Locks put the hurt on East Granby with a sharp 62-39 win on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-11.
It was another big night for Jack Grasso, who scored 21 points along with three steals. Kyle Hinckley was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Granby Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Windsor Locks, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
Granby Memorial suffered a grim 68-42 defeat to Windsor Locks when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Thankfully for Granby Memorial, Austin Smith (who scored 13 points along with six assists and two steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
