Everything went their way against the Mountain View Mountain Lions as they made off with a 9-0 victory. The result came thanks to Jayan Ybarra's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Vista Grande is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 9-11-1 otherwise.
At the plate, Ruben Baca was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Thomas Ortega also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mountain View, they are taking a road trip to square off against Ironwood Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
