Avery Robinson turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Wednesday. She pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. She was up against Broughton and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in April of 2024.

Robinson's strong effort led Cardinal Gibbons over Broughton and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
