Falls City extended their losing streak  to eight  on Friday, dropping them down to 1-8. They took a hard  21-7 fall against the Fairbury Jeffs. The  contest was a  7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Tigers couldn't quite close it out.
 Jacoby Bangert threw for 70 yards  on seven of 21 attempts.   Orion Cattrell was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards.  On the ground,  Jayton Wilkerson rushed for 43 yards.
Fairbury's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Fairbury's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Nic Smith, who rushed for 58 yards and one  TD.  Konrad Kuzelka helped out on the ground, rushing for 80 yards and a  rushing touchdown.
As of now, neither Falls City nor Fairbury have any future games scheduled.
