Lake Zurich won the last time they faced Lake Forest and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bears came out on top against the Scouts by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21.

Lake Zurich's offense was headlined by Wyatt Jones and Konrad Bochonko, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Yani Oblakov and his 11 assists. Gabe Schwartz and Nikola Stanojevic kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Lake Zurich's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Lake Forest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Lake Zurich will be taking part in a tournament against Glenbard North at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Forest, they will face off against Stevenson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
