Glendale hasn't had much luck against Arcadia recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Nitros will be playing at home against the Apaches at 3:45 p.m. Glendale has given up an average of 9.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Arcadia got themselves on the board against Burbank on Thursday, but Burbank never followed suit. They blew past the Bulldogs 16-0. The Apaches might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Peyton Fox made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Fox was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs and one RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Samantha Almaraz looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Kylie Liang, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nia White, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Arcadia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .585. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Burbank only posted an OBP of .062.
Arcadia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Glendale, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Glendale hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .377. However, it's not like Arcadia struggles in that department as they've averaged .390. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
