Eagle Valley got a massive performance out of Lily Brueck, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Eagle Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Battle Mountain only posted an OBP of .154.
Eagle Valley has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Battle Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Meeker the next time they take the field. Eagle Valley will head out to face Meeker at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Battle Mountain will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
