This season hasn't been kind to the Chase Kats, who are still winless after their fifth game. They were dealt a 66-11 loss at the hands of Otis-Bison on Monday. Chase has not had much luck with Otis-Bison recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Luke Miller was Chase's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Miller also led the team in rebounds with eight.
Chase bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.2 points per game. As for Otis-Bison, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Chase will head out on the road to face off against Central Plains at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Otis-Bison will be home for the holidays to greet LaCrosse on Friday. LaCrosse has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
