Cheshire Academy took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against Pomfret School, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cats beat the Griffins by a goal, winning 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Cheshire Academy sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cheshire Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-3-1. As for Pomfret School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cheshire Academy will square off against St. Thomas More at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pomfret School, they will challenge Cushing Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
