The Barnesville Shamrocks will square off against the Edison Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Edison took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Barnesville, who comes in off a win.
Barnesville will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Bridgeport on Thursday. The Shamrocks walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Bulldogs. The win continues a trend for the Shamrocks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Ella Betts and Peyton Loudin made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Betts didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Loudin struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. At bat, Betts went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Loudin went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Loudin a new career-high.
In other batting news, Abygail Ady was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April. Emma Swan was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
Meanwhile, Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Claymont.
Barnesville now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.
