Volleyball Recap: Shayla Huck and Chloe Coon Secure Win for Coal Ridge

Coal Ridge's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Cedaredge Bruins as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Titans this season.

Coal Ridge's got stronger as the match went on, holding Cedaredge to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-15.

Coal Ridge was led to victory by Chloe Coon and Shayla Huck. Coon had 11 digs and two aces, while Huck had 13 digs. That's the most aces Coon has posted since back in October of 2024.

Coal Ridge now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Cedaredge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Coal Ridge will venture away from home to take on Delta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedaredge, they will welcome Basalt at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
