On Friday, everything came up roses for Ennis on the road against Choteau as the team secured a 63-25 victory. Given Ennis' advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while Choteau is ranked 26th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
When it comes to explaining why Choteau lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kylie Kovatch. Despite the final result, she scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Ennis' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Choteau, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Ennis' road trip will continue as they head out to face Conrad. As for Choteau, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Whitehall at 3:00 p.m. on December 9th.
