The Northwest Yeshiva Lions won the last time they faced the Rainier Christian Mustangs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Northwest Yeshiva came out on top against Rainier Christian by a score of 32-20. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Northwest Yeshiva.
Paulina Gamel was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Northwest Yeshiva's points. Another player making a difference was Rose Clayman, who scored eight points.
Rainier Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luci Ramey, who scored 11 points.
Northwest Yeshiva now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Rainier Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest Yeshiva won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Concordia Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Rainier Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Auburn Adventist at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
