Shelton had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 62-52 victory over All Saints Episcopal on Friday. The win was just what Shelton needed coming off of a 64-39 loss in their prior matchup.
Dallas Christian suffered their biggest loss since December 14, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against McKinney Christian Academy, falling 82-49. Dallas Christian has struggled against McKinney Christian Academy recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
The victory got Shelton back to even at 12-12. As for Dallas Christian, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 8-11.
Shelton was dealt a bruising 64-32 loss at the hands of Dallas Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Shelton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
