In what's become a running theme this season, the Drummond Trojans gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 50-19 victory over Valley Christian at home. Winning may never get old, but Drummond sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Drummond's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kimber Parsons, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Nelson, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Drummond's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. As for Valley Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
Drummond has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Lynx at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Valley Christian is on the road again on Friday and plays the Prospectors at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
