Kermit has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Crane Cranes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Crane took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Kermit, who comes in off a win.
Kermit posted their biggest win since December 16, 2023 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Compass Academy with a sharp 54-34 victory.
Among those leading the charge was Jaden Bejarano, who scored 14 points along with eight steals. Another player making a difference was Zavian Quiroz, who scored five points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Crane's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 13th straight loss. They fell 50-40 to Stanton.
Kermit's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Crane, they bumped their record down to 2-15 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Kermit barely slipped by Crane in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 63-62. Does Kermit have another victory up their sleeve, or will Crane turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
