Even though the Olympic Heights Lions scored an imposing 75 points on Friday, the Atlantic Eagles still came out on top. Atlantic took their match against Olympic Heights 84-75. The win made it back-to-back wins for Atlantic.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christian Cadet, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Harbatkin, who scored 20 points.
Atlantic's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Olympic Heights, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.
Atlantic will head out on the road to face off against Boca Raton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boca Raton will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. As for Olympic Heights, Olympic Heights and Monarch will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Monarch focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Friday.
