Mississippi School for the Deaf took down Georgia School for the Deaf 44-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Keith Brignac threw for 30 yards and one touchdown and ran for 244 yards in the win.
Tennessee School for the Deaf led Mason-Dixon Deaf Football (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on Oak Level Baptist Academy.
The Vikings' Ethan Swafford and Rashard Witherspoon have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Swafford has thrown for 497 yards this season, while Witherspoon, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 22 catches for 310 yards. Brignac from the Bulldogs leads the league in rushing with 901 yards.
Mississippi School for the Deaf's Brignac is a mere 99 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.
