The Torrington Raiders will be playing at home against the Watertown Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Torrington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Friday, Torrington didn't have too much trouble with the Eagles at home as they won 48-34. That's two games straight that Torrington has won by exactly 14 points.
It was another big night for Haley Burger, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Melissa Duman, who scored six points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, even though Seymour scored an imposing 57 points on Tuesday, Watertown still came out on top. Watertown walked away with a 64-57 victory over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Watertown.
Torrington's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Watertown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
