The Clifton Central Comets scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Saturday. They blew past Milford 75-50. The score was close at the half, but Clifton Central pulled away in the second half with 41  points.
 Clifton Central found their leader in underclassman  Blake Chandler, who  scored 19 points along with nine  rebounds and four  steals. Those nine  rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aidan Podowicz, who  scored nine points along with ten  assists and three  steals.
 Clifton Central has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Milford,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-6.
 Clifton Central's road trip will continue as they head out to face Watseka at 5:00  p.m.  on December 19th. Milford and Donovan will face off  at 7:35  p.m.  on December 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
