The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Maize South scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18.
Haysville Campus' defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Great Bend, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
