The Liberty Common Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 54-41 to Peak to Peak. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Liberty Common in their matchups with Peak to Peak: they've now lost seven in a row.
Liberty Common lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Max Frevert, who scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals. Frevert set a new season high mark in blocks with three. Another player making a difference was Carson Ford, who scored 12 points.
Liberty Common's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-7. As for Peak to Peak, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Liberty Common's road trip will continue as they head out to face Prospect Ridge Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. Averaging 65.1 so far this season, Prospect Ridge Academy's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Liberty Common better be ready for a challenge. As for Peak to Peak, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kent Denver at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kent Denver will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
