Washington Magnet on the road to the tune of 74-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Brewbaker Tech also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Leading Brewbaker Tech to victory were Kevin Honer and Johnathan Williams. Honer scored 20 points along with 9 rebounds, while Williams dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. The match was Honer's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Dixon, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals.
The last time Brewbaker Tech lost on the road was back last Tuesday. Having now won four straight away matches, they've pushed their record up to 4-8. As for Booker T. Washington Magnet, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Brewbaker Tech will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. Auburn presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Brewbaker Tech in Alabama (Auburn is ranked 52nd, while Brewbaker Tech is ranked 251st). As for Booker T. Washington Magnet, they will head out on the road to face off against Reeltown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
