Softball Recap: Regis Starts Season with Victory at Home

Regis gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They blew past the Jefferson Lions 12-2. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 9-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

Addie Bishop spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 13 Ks.

On the hitting side, Hadley Foster was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. Sophie Wagner was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Coming up, Regis will square off against Colton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson, they will host Rainier at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
