The Tippecanoe Red Devils put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 79-43 victory over Xenia at home. Tippecanoe's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Jackson Smith was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for he. Maddox Sivon was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds and seven assists.
Tippecanoe pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Xenia, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Tippecanoe will head out on the road to face off against Stebbins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Stebbins will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 349th, while Tippecanoe is ranked 97th). Xenia will be home for the holidays to greet Troy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Troy and Xenia are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
