The Desert Christian Academy Conquerors won against the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves on Tuesday with 73 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Desert Christian Academy simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat San Jacinto Valley Academy 73-45 at home. That's two games straight that Desert Christian Academy has won by exactly 28 points.
Desert Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Augustine Youssef, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and eight assists. Another player making a difference was Jacob Reynolds, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
San Jacinto Valley Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being James Henderson, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Hutchinson, who scored four points along with five assists and three steals.
Desert Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against La Quinta at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. La Quinta is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. San Jacinto Valley Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Temecula Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Temecula Prep has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 425 points over their last six matches.
